On February 20 and 21, 2026, the SHIBUI collective invites you to a two-day inclusive dance forum. Together, we want to make the connecting power of movement tangible and open up spaces where people can come into contact with each other—through their bodies, curiosity, and shared practice.
The forum is aimed at a diverse, intergenerational community: people with Parkinson's and their relatives, dance professionals, students, interested parties, and anyone who wants to explore movement as an artistic or social field.
Whether you have dance experience or not, everyone is welcome.
The program includes open workshops, insights into the SHIBUI collective's long-standing community practice, inspiring contributions, and a lab format specially developed for dance professionals who want to further develop their own work in the direction of social practice.
Made possible by funding from the “Dranbleiben!” support program of the Center for Cultural Participation Baden-Württemberg (ZfKT). The ZfKT is funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research, and the Arts.
Note: The format includes moments of movement and encounter in which physical contact may occur. Participation is voluntary, and each person decides for themselves the degree of closeness and involvement they wish to engage in. No intense light or sound effects will be used.
To register or if you have any questions, please write to info@shibuicollective.com.
The event is free of charge.
We welcome voluntary donations to support our inclusive dance projects.
